Amiruddin Kemat

Corporate finance, governance & structural risk management

Brings over 30 years of deep corporate finance, corporate planning and public-sector stakeholder experience to Ibhar Capital Venture (ICV). With a proven background as CEO of Virtus Capital Partners and senior roles across financial services and utilities—including Malaysia Debt Ventures and PBA Holdings—he delivers top-tier governance oversight. His expertise spans strategy formulation, M&A support, fundraising and financing-scheme development. At ICV, Amiruddin links board-level strategy with operational execution to ensure rigorous underwriting discipline, covenant design and structural risk management.

Shahril Anwar Bin Mohd Yunos

Venture capital, technology investment & portfolio risk

A highly respected leader in venture capital and tech investments with more than three decades of experience, including 10 years as CEO of Kumpulan Modal Perdana, an MOF-owned venture capital company. Shahril has managed domestic VC funds and international fund-of-funds, overseeing investments in 41 technology companies that yielded 12 IPOs. Currently serving as Chairman of the Malaysia Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (MVCA), he brings immense credibility to ICV's credit policies, covenant surveillance and portfolio risk management.

Hazman Zaim Bin Zainal Abidin

Legal structures, Shariah compliance & investor protection

An Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya and Partner at Messrs Zaim Sabrina & Co, Hazman Zaim brings extensive expertise in corporate and venture financing documentation, Shariah compliance and private equity transactions. At ICV, he oversees end-to-end legal structures for investment programmes, ensuring full alignment with Companies Act requirements, Securities Commission guidelines and Tawarruq/Murabahah Shariah frameworks. His focus on standardised documentation and risk protection provides investors with a secure, transparent execution framework.

04Director of Strategic Investment

Muhamad Zakiyuddin Bin Abdul Azih

Origination, investor relations & programme execution

Leads day-to-day execution, origination, and investor relations for ICV. Grounded in private wealth management, Zakiyuddin previously managed approximately RM900 million in assets under management across institutions like CIMB, Maybank, and private equity management corporations, where he was recognized as a top private banking relationship manager. His experience in high-net-worth client acquisition and portfolio servicing ensures that ICV's financing structures are seamlessly aligned with cash flows and backed by transparent investor reporting.

05Chief Executive Officer / Head of Credit Management

Mohd Sharizal Bin Mustapah Kamil

Credit governance, portfolio surveillance & restructuring

Brings over 20 years of specialised experience in credit underwriting, portfolio surveillance and development finance, including leadership positions at Malaysia Debt Ventures (MDV) and EXIM Bank Berhad. Having managed cross-border portfolios exceeding USD 320 million, Mohd Sharizal leads ICV's credit governance framework. His expertise in technology and green-project due diligence, early-warning monitoring and restructuring ensures robust risk mitigation and post-disbursement portfolio protection.
